Thanks to the special mattress filling (not a simple stiff covering material from the automotive industry) in combination with a high-quality mattress made from a sophisticated combination of gel and cold foam (not temperature-sensitive visco foam), sleeping comfort has increased considerably.

Gel foam mattresses are made of foamed polyurethane, also called PUR gel foam.
Thick gel is then added to the PUR gel foam. This results in improved point elasticity and greater recovery force.
The bottom layer consists of highly compressed cold foam.

Overall, gel foam mattresses have a slightly firmer but at the same time more comfortable sleeping feeling compared to the original mattress. The ventilation is considerably better.
