Thanks to the special mattress cover (not simple, stiff car fabric) combined with a high-quality mattress made of an advanced mix of gel and cold foam (not temperature-sensitive viscoelastic foam), sleeping comfort is significantly improved.

The ultimate in comfort is our Calibed Prestige III, specially designed for the Volkswagen T5/T6/T6.1 California Comfortline/Coast and Ocean – a special topper for the 2-seater camper bench.

The Calibed Prestige III is a combination of cold foam and cold foam with gel-like properties.

Our mattress is among the most advanced mattresses available. Our experience shows that these mattresses consistently provide a slightly softer feel, comparable to a mix of cold foam and viscoelastic foam. Thanks to their point-elastic surface, gel foam mattresses are also suitable for relieving muscle tension.

Gel foam mattresses consist of foamed polyurethane, also known as PUR gel foam. A viscous gel is subsequently added to the PUR gel foam. This results in improved point elasticity and increased resilience. The bottom layer consists of high-density cold foam.

In general, gel foam mattresses offer a slightly firmer, yet simultaneously softer feel compared to a standard mattress. Ventilation is also significantly better. Combination core: 3.5 cm cold foam (density 45 kg/m³), increased firmness, plus 4.0 cm cold foam with gel-like properties (density 50 kg/m³)

Cover: Top: breathable quilted Tencel fabric, 280 g/m² double-knit fabric consisting of 63% polyester and 37% lyocell, quilted with 300 g/m² climate fiber (100% polyester)

The cover has a zipper on 4 sides and is washable at 60 °C.

The properties of Tencel fibers make it the ideal material for mattress covers.

Tencel cools down in warm temperatures and warms up in cold temperatures. This ensures a constant comfortable temperature – an important prerequisite for a good night's sleep.

Thanks to the microfine fiber structure, Tencel wicks moisture away to the core of the fiber very quickly and releases it back into the ambient air just as quickly. Tencel can absorb approximately 50% more moisture than cotton. Lyocell bedding ensures a healthy, dry sleeping environment and is also suitable for people who perspire heavily at night.

Tencel mattress covers can be washed at 60°C. This makes them ideal for people with allergies and anyone who prefers washable, quilted bedding.

We take hygiene very seriously and therefore do not accept returns of used, washed, or otherwise damaged items! We appreciate your understanding, as used items are unsaleable and therefore cannot be returned.

The tests on the above-mentioned articles were carried out according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, Annex 4, Product Class I for baby articles, and demonstrated compliance with the currently applicable human-ecological requirements in Annex 4 of STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
