AIR-SAFE is available for all VW Caddy and VW T6.1/T6/T5 Transporter tailgates without electromechanic closing aid as well as for all VW T4.

With the AIR-SAFE the tailgate can be opened quickly and simplyapprox. 10 cm and still be locked.
AIR-SAFE is made of stainless high-grade steel (V2A) and is hooked into the closure bail as an elongation of the original catch.

The coeval use of a FLYOUT mosquito net for the tailgate assures a night without mosquitoes

 

The FLYOUT for the tailgate opening of the VW Caddy 5 has a special opening to insert the AIR-SAFE - if AIR-SAFE is not used, the opening can be closed with a hook-and-loop fastener strap. Thus, insects can't reach the inside of the vehicle.
